Instrument for determining bleeding
or coagulation time:
A need
has been demonstrated to provide a measure of the condition of a patient’s blood
prior to complicated surgery. One measure of the that condition is bleeding or
coagulation time. An instrument has been developed, based on patented
technology, to allow a blood sample to be quickly forced through a orifice
simulating bleeding through a small wound in the body, and then measuring time
required to coagulate. NIH Grants for development were obtained by the
inventor, and we have prepared instruments for an extended in-clinic field
trial.
Device for segregating dental
instruments during sterilization:
A
client brought a simple idea to us which we proceeded to prototype, selecting a
unique material for the application and had tooling built to produce quantities
for product. Subsequently the product was sold to a major dental distribution
company.
